Please feel free to choose whatever coloured yarn you like as this is all about your own individuality. Please use a stitch marker or a different coloured strand of yarn so you don’t lose where you are in the crochet round. I cut a 3 inch piece of yarn in a different colour to the heart and insert that at the end of each round. To make this heart you will need the following tools.
Supplies:
DK Cotton Yarn/DK Acrylic Yarn
Polyester stuffing
Scissors and sewing needle
3.5mm crochet hook or hook of choice to suit the yarn you use
Skill Level: Beginner
Abbreviations:
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase, 2 sc in one st
dec = decrease, 2 sc together
(..) = repeat the number in the brackets
[..] = total number of stitches
Top of heart (Make 2)
Part 1
R 1: 6sc in magic ring (MR) [6]

R 2: (inc) x 6 [12]

R 3: (1sc, inc) x 6 [18]
R 4 – R5: 18sc (2 rounds) [18]
Finish off (FO), cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing

Part 2
Do not cut the yarn on the last round
R 1: 6sc in mr [6]
R 2: (inc) x 6 [12]
R 3: (1sc, inc) x 6 [18]
R 4 – R5: 18sc (2 rounds) [18]
R 5: Join part 1 to part 2 to with 4 slip stitches (slst), 14sc (part 1), 14sc (part 2) [28]

R 6: 28sc [28]
R 7: (6sc, dec) x 4 [24]
R 8: (5sc, dec) x 4 [20]
R 9: (4sc, dec) x 4 [16]

Stuff with filling
R 10: (3sc, dec) x 4 [12]
Stuff with filling at this point
R 11: (2sc, dec) x 4 [8]
R 12: (1sc, dec) x 4 [4]

Now, finish off and leave a long tail to sew the last 4 stitches and close the hole.
